What Are Smart Tags?

Smart Tags are dynamic, rule-based labels that appear directly on Lead cards within the pipeline. These tags automatically apply based on predefined conditions, updating in real time as contact or opportunity information changes.

Smart Tags provide an at-a-glance view of a lead’s segment, priority, or required action, eliminating the need to manually filter or open individual records.

Why Smart Tags Are Important

  • Immediate prioritization: High-value or urgent leads stand out visually.

  • Faster follow-up: Missing information or engagement signals are easy to spot.

  • Consistent visibility: All users see the same indicators across the pipeline.

  • Real-time accuracy: Tags automatically update as data changes.

Catchlight Segment Smart Tags

Within the Leads pipeline, Smart Tags are used to identify a contact’s Catchlight Segment based on asset or opportunity value. These blue tags help you quickly understand the market tier of each lead.

Segment Breakdown

 Mass Market

  • Value: Less than $100,000

Middle Market

  • Value: $100,000 – $250,000

Mass Affluent

  • Value: $250,000 – $500,000

Affluent

  • Value: $500,000 – $1,000,000

High Net Worth

  • Value: $1,000,000 – $3,500,000

Ultra High Net Worth

  • Value: $3,500,000+

These segment tags are automatically assigned and updated as information is added or adjusted on the contact record.
